Deeply inspired to help bridge political perspectives, I created Columm as an experiment to see if I could build a platform that would enable people to "see the other side" objectively, logically, and with sincerity. I ultimately gave up on the project, but I felt that most people weren't actually that open to changing their perspective, but mostly set in defending them.
